Honey (0156)

Breed: Chihuahua
Sex: Female
Age: 4 years and 9 months
Size: Small

Details:

Honey is another of the puppy mill Chihuahua rescues who is still working on learning how nice human contact can be outside of the mill. Honey is a sweet and smart little girl, but is still very timid and needs help coming out of her shell. She... More...... needs patience and an owner who will be consistent with her in her training. She is crate trained and potty trained outside. Honey is lovable in an indirect way and once she is convinced that humans are good, she will be a loyal forever friend. Honey gets along with older (10+) children and other dogs, but we feel that the best fit for her would be a quiet, adult only home. If you are interested in being considered to adopt our little Honey, please submit an Adoption Application for her today. She has an Adoption Donation of $250.

Age: 0 years and 7 months
Size: Medium

Details:

Coby is a very sweet boy who loves everyone he meets and is great with other dogs, both large and small. We have not exposed him to cats, so do not know how he feels about them. Since Coby is still a puppy he will need a family that will work with him to become a wonderful dog. A puppy training class would be a great thing for Coby and his new family. Are you the perfect family for Coby? If you would like to meet him and see if he might be a good match, submit your online Adoption Application for him today. CeeCee and Megan (0149 and 150)

Breed: Chihuahua
Sex: Female
Age: 7 years and 8 months
Size: Small

Details:

These two little Chihuahua sisters, CeeCee (with the stand up ears) and Megan, complement each other so well that it is like having one completely perfect dog in two little packages. They were born and raised in a puppymill together and are extremely... More...... bonded to each other so we are determined that they should not be separated. Both of the sisters are snugglers and cuddlers and love to snuggle under the covers. The sisters are fine with other dogs of all sizes, cats and children. A fenced yard would be nice for Megan as she loves to wander and sniff everything. They have done very well on their house training and will use pee pads. If you would be interested in learning more about these two sweet girls, submit an online Adoption Application for them today or drop us an email. The girls are available for adoption at $150 each, or through our Senior Companions Program for $100 each for an adopter over age 55.

Rosie 2 (0138)

Breed: Chihuahua
Sex: Female
Age: 3 years and 2 months
Size: Small

Details:

This adorable girl is Rosie 2 and she is waiting for her forever family to find her and bring her home! She is sweet as can be, loves attention and will soak it up like a 'love sponge!' She loves to play and toys are her favorite things! She likes... More...... other dogs to play with, but when it comes to 'lap time' she prefers to be the only dog getting loving. So we think she would do best in a home without other dogs, or with dogs larger than her that she can share with better. Rosie likes to explore outside, but sometimes forgets to go potty when she is out there. She will use pee pads indoors, but is working on focusing on taking care of all that when she is outside. If you would like to be considered to bring this sweetheart home, please submit your application for her today! She has an Adoption Donation of $275.

Jake (0125)

Breed: Italian Greyhound / Chihuahua
Sex: Male
Age: 3 years and 3 months
Size: Small

Details:

Jake is 3 years old and weighs 7 pounds. He is currently being fostered with dogs and cats. He is interested in the cats, but since they are bigger than he is, it has not been an issue. Jake is completely housebroken, walks very well on a leash... More...... and is not a barker. Jake is a quirky, funny little guy! There are times when he just wants to be left alone and other times when he wants as much love and attention as he can get. Jake is a bit shy and unsure of things at first so we are working on his socialization skills with him. Jake should be in an adult only home with no children. The ideal home for Jake would be with someone who is home with him most of the time. Would Jake be the perfect addition to your family? If you think so, please apply for him today. Adoption Donation for Jake is $250

Katrena - Meet me at the Adoption Center on Saturday 2/18 (0137)

Breed: English Bulldog / Mastiff
Sex: Female
Age: 3 years and 2 months
Size: Medium

Details:

We are happy to present Katrena, a english bull dog/mastiff mix girl of about three years and 57 pounds. She was surrendered along with Mikey because her people could no longer care for them the way they deserved. Like Mikey, Katrena has a very... More...... nice temperament, keeps her crate clean and is very eager to please. She is a little too interested in cats, though, and will chase them just because they are so interesting. She is a happy girl and loves to play, explore and then nap in a warm spot! She would do best in an adult only home or one with older children that she can knock down when she gets to goofing around. If you would like to be considered to be the lucky family that gets to bring Katrena home, please complete and submit the Adoption Application for her. Katrena has an Adoption Donation of $275.

Rocco (0121)

Breed: Beagle / Jack Russell Terrier
Sex: Male
Age: 3 years and 3 months
Size: Small

Details:

This cool dude, Rocco, is a great little guy - a big dog in a small package! He is housebroken and crate trained, he will even go into his open crate for some quiet time. He really loves to be with people, gets along good with the dogs in his... More...... foster home and with the neighborhood dogs he has met. He is VERY smart, minds well and clearly enjoys being told when he is a good boy. He loves to go for regular walks to check out all the sniffs in the neighborhood and rides well in a car. His favorite thing is fetch with whatever ball he can find and he will talk to you when he wants you to throw his ball! He is alert and curious, and while he lets you know when someone is outside the house, he will stop barking when told to. He is not hyper, as you might expect with a JRT mix. Rocco likes kids, but small children can get him very excited, so a home with older (10+) kids would be best. He would not do well in a home with cats because he likes to chase small critters like squirrels and chipmunks, and he can never be let off-leash. Rocco is full of personality and makes his foster family laugh every day. If you think Rocco is a perfect fit for your family, please send in your application today! Rocco's Adoption Donation is $250

Buckwheat (0113)

Breed: Pit Bull Terrier
Sex: Male
Age: 5 years and 4 months
Size: Large

Details:

This handsome red-nose pit bull boy is Buckwheat. He is about 5 years old and weighs approximately 70 pounds. Buckwheat is a sweet boy and so deserves to have a home and family to call his own. He was rescued from a neglectful situation, and we'd... More...... love to see him safe, secure and well-loved for the rest of his life. He is house and crate trained and wants to please. Buckwheat has other canine housemates in his foster home and gets along well with all of them. He is a little 'cat curious' but doesn't chase them, so would probably be best in a home without cats. Would you like to be the lucky one who gets to call this great boy your own? Buckwheat's Adoption Donation is $250
